How in the world did Mikasa make it back to Paradis?

I mean, seriously, all the ships should have been flattened by the colossal titans.

Did Mikasa suddenly become an Olympic-level swimmer after Eren died? Because let’s be real, she and Levi lost their Ackerman “powers” (whatever that means – and honestly, it doesn’t make much sense).

And when we ask these questions, what do we get? “Only Ymir knows.” Come on, Isayama, you can’t leave us hanging like that. We’re using the “Only Ymir knows” card way too often now, and it’s getting embarrassing.

But hey, it’s not just about Mikasa miraculously making it back to Paradis – although that’s weird enough.

It’s about her not getting executed on the spot the moment she shows up.

I mean, she left the island, killed its soldiers (and bathed in their blood in the anime, for crying out loud), and now she’s returning with the decapitated head of their god-figure.

Logically, she wouldn’t even have time to reach the nearest tree before someone fills her with holes.

And here’s the kicker someone throws in: “It’s because she was JAPANESE.

What does that even mean? Did she use some secret ninja technique to sneak past everyone?

Oh, and let’s not forget the: “She closed her eyes very tight and said ‘there’s no place like home.” Yeah, right. If only it were that simple.

And the Alliance? They somehow waltz back into Paradis without getting shot on sight.

Seriously, is everyone on Paradis suffering from temporary blindness or selective amnesia?

Mikasa goes back, starts a family, grows old, and dies peacefully.

Meanwhile, the entire Alliance should have been executed on the spot the moment they stepped foot back on the island.

I’ve tried to come up with a feasible explanation for how a depowered 19-year-old with nothing but an ODM gear and a giant Eren head managed to cross the ocean safely, but I’m drawing blanks. It’s like I missed a crucial chapter in the story.

Hizuru, where Mikasa supposedly got the ships, wasn’t destroyed, you say?

Well, last time I checked, it got rumbled along with Hange and the Alliance had to escape on a plane.

In the end, we’re left scratching our heads, wondering how Mikasa pulled off this incredible feat. It’s not a plot hole, they say; it’s just information we weren’t given. Sure, let’s call it that. But seriously, Isayama, leaving things to the reader’s imagination is one thing, but this is like leaving the door wide open for conspiracy theories. Can’t a fan get a decent explanation?
